Where Squiggly Entrepreneurs™ grow full bloomed brands.
THE WOMAN BEHIND THE 🌹
Kelsey McCormick is a squiggle-brained brand designer, marketing strategist, teacher, mentor, and the Chief Brand Botanist at Coming Up Roses.
Before founding her design studio, Kelsey worked in content marketing in the music industry. Her past clients include Goldenvoice, Coachella, AEG Presents, Katy Perry, Chugg Entertainment, and Fremantle Media. After leaving her career in Los Angeles, Kelsey and her husband moved to Sydney, Australia where she later launched Coming Up Roses as a way to reclaim her creativity and connect with other creatives.
With her intuitive eye for color, Kelsey quickly developed a recognizably vibrant and playful design style that catapulted her into collaborations with brands like Girlboss. Now with over a decade of experience in branding and social media marketing, Kelsey has helped Tamara Driessen, D’ara Nazaryan, Feeld Guide, and others to grow thriving brand ecosystems across web and social media.
While building her studio from the ground up, Kelsey has developed an unmatched approach to business and content strategy. As a teacher and mentor, Kelsey is passionate about empowering creative professionals to fearlessly and unapologetically show up as their full selves online and IRL. Her signature frameworks, courses, and programs have helped hundreds of creative entrepreneurs to expansively transform their lives and businesses.
A true Leo and with a lifelong inability to stop talking, Kelsey’s fiery energy has cultivated a budding community of creative collaborators who keep her growing and curiously creating. She has been featured in Moodelier and This Creative Life.
As the middle child of a big family, Kelsey feels most at home browsing through a buzzing market or savoring live music with friends. When she’s not working, Kelsey is refilling her creative cup by painting, exploring Los Angeles, or being silly with her son Neil.
